3rd annual EO-Houston Veterans Business Battle awards $610,000

The EO-Houston Veterans Business Battle is one of the most successful contests helping veteran-owned companies win investment dollars.  This year, the Business Battle saw over $600,000 in funding go to veteran owners in need of additional investment.

According to Chron “Funnel Science, a Web marketing company, received the largest offer from the event at $250,000. Other companies receiving investment offers during the banquet Saturday include: $200,000 to Veterans MFG, a body armor and ballistics company; $100,000 to True Made Foods, which produces paleo sauces including ketchup, barbecue and sriracha; $50,000 to GH Mobil, an auto shop that brings mechanics to the customers; and $10,000 to Shield International, which virtually trains schools, businesses and others on tactical responses to active shooters and other urgent situations.”

In its third year, the Veteran Business Battle has already raised over $2 million for veteran entrepreneurs and continues to elevate opportunities for all involved.  In addition to investments, the contest is also live streamed and allows everyday people to view the event and donate if they choose to.
