The Women’s Enterprise USA (WE USA) Magazine aims to recognize the best within the supply chain industry. Every year, the organization’s Top 100 Leaders list is a complete catalog of the best and brightest and one of the many highlights of the industry. The list highlights leaders, “who advocate for progressive supplier diversity policies within their own companies, and within – and outside of – their industry.” Therefore, it is always a big achievement for supply chain leaders to be recognized by WE USA. This year Mark Cartwright, senior director of Supplier Diversity from Vizient Inc., received top honors.
Cathy Denning, senior vice president of Sourcing Operations, spoke about Cartwright’s win stating the following: “We are proud of Mark and the work he does to ensure there are opportunities for diverse suppliers within the health care industry. Vizient supports diverse suppliers playing a key role in bringing cost effective, high quality products to the health care supply chain thereby supporting local economic development. Mark’s dedication and leadership has been fundamental to the growth and success of the Vizient Supplier Diversity Program.”
