SBA Administrator Linda McMahon may focus on deregulation for small business

In a recent interview with CNBC’s “Closing Bell”, SBA Administrator Linda McMahon called for less regulation for small businesses.  While the newly appointed admin did not go into specifics, it is clear that she will aid in the Trump administration’s goal to deregulate requirements for businesses moving forward.

I recently wrote an article on the over regulation for new hires that small businesses have to deal with and the statement from McMahon could not have come at a better time.  It’s true that most Trump appoints have been divisive (i.e. Secretary of Education and the EPA), but McMahon’s appointment has been accepted much more in the eyes of both parties.  Still, the former Chairwoman of the WWE is still new as it pertains to government dealings.

As the administrator continues to learn the position, look to hear about sustainable plans moving forward.  But it’s good to know that regulation will be a top priority.
