President Trump recently sat down with community bankers to discuss the ways to boost lending and regulatory reforms

President Trump is slowly coming through with his promises to help small business.

This past week President Trump and his administration met with community bankers to discuss ways to boost federal lending to US small businesses and find ways to solve regulatory issues. Coming into the meeting bankers were optimistic about President Trump’s planned regulatory reform and the appointments he plans to make concerning those efforts.

Although specific information for the meeting has not been released. American Bankers Association CEO Robert Nicholos spoke highly of the meeting stating “We had a great exchange with the president about the need to have people with real world experience in a number of those positions,”
